messages of sympathy FROM THE KING AND MR. MACDONALD (British Official Wireless,) Rugby, July 28. King George yesterday telegraphed to M. Poincare expressing concern at the news of his illness. Mr. J. R. MacDonald dispatched the following telegram to M. Poincare: “I am much grieved to learn of Your Excellency’s illness. Please accept my sympathy and my sincere wishes for your speedy recovery.” T ■'’vlng to Mr. MacDonald’s message M. Poincare telegraphed: "I thank Your Excellency for your kind wisL.s. Clemenceau successfully underwent a similar operation a few years ago.
