It was tropically hot this morning when a hundred American women students, who are touring Europe, appeared- at the Cathedral door dressed in male riding attire. The scandalised vergers refused them admittance. The students, noting that the guide book said the Cathedral must not be missed, marched to a neighbouring store and purchased a large quantity of cheap coloured print overalls, which they slipped on and returned to the Cathedral, when they were readily admitted. ______
