GENERAL MOTORS LIMITED

ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT. The third annual smoke concert of General Motors, New Zealand, Limited, was held last Friday, Mr. A: Ronan presiding. Mr. F. Phillips (Acting-Man-ager Director) was unable to attend through indisposition. Musical items rendered by Messrs. Price,-Millward, Lockage, and Form were much appreciated, and the vocal efforts of Rangitera Puketapu and his warriors met with great applause. Toasts proposed were- “The King” (Mr. A. Ronan), “Our Executive” (Mr. Pope, replied to by Mr. Grant), “Our Distributors” (Mr. Brooks), Mr. McMinn responding. The joint secretaries were Messrs. Simpson and Griffiths. The pianist was, Mr. W. Lyons.
