Mrs Vigers, a well-known painter of "arden pictures, is visiting Masterton and will bold an exhibition ot water colours at the Oak Room, Hugo and Shearer’s, next Tuesday and Wednesday. All those interested in art wilt have a valuable opportunity of seeing this fine collection, which includes pictures of beautiful English and New Zealand gardens, several of the Ellerslie racecourse, typical and unique New Zealand landscapes, and other subjects. During the summer months Mrs. Vigers will visit different parts of the North Island with a view to painting gardens in each district.
