SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION
The committee of the Sunday School Union met on Thursday. The president. Mr. W. E. Howe, was in the chair and 25 delegates were present. Glowing reports of the Auckland convention were given by several delegates. Special mention was made of the arrangements made for the comfort of the twenty-five delegates who went from Wellington. Not only was the camp a success but the papers and addresses were of a high order, and many delegates came back with new ideas of Sunday school work. If was announced that arrangements hud been made with the Rev. Chas. Wickham to give a series of lectures lo teachers. Mr. Wickham will plan Ids lectures to suit young people who are just beginning to teach, and it is hoped to get considerable support from Bible Class members. Matters in connection with the visit of Miss Jennie M. Street were discussed, and members were urged to attend her meetings. The election of officers resulted as follows President, Mr. W? E. Howe; vice-' presidents, Messrs. W. H. Keysley. A. Gibbs and T. F. White: secretary, Mr. 11. J. Thompson; treasurer, Mr. W. G. Holdsyrorth; visitors, Miss Oldfield and Mr. AlexJohnston; auditor, Mr. R. Tait.
