The unusual sight of a White Leghorn rooster in Dee Street caused considerable amusement among passers-by the other afternoon (states the “Southland Times”). During one stage of its movements it was seen purched on top of a motor-ear, and such an unusual spectacle drew the attention of all who were in the vicinity at the time.
