REPARATIONS
* GERMANY’S OFFER ALLIED DEBTS TO AMERICA NOT COVERED Australian Press Association. (Rec. April 18, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, April 18. At a meeting of Reparations experts Herr Schacht presented a memorandum and figures which were kept secret. It is believed the Germans suggest that the annuities run for 37 instead of 58 years, at a flat rate round about eighty to eighty-flve millions sterling. French circles are of opinion that the gap between the Allies’ claims and the German offer does not cover the Allied debts towards America.
