Mr. J. Miller, S.M., presided at a sitting of the Magistrate's Court this mornFor allowing a horse to wander in the streets W. A. Taylor was fined 10s., with costs 10s. f -n . ■ ■.
John Kerins was fined £2 and costs 10s. for obtaining liquor during the currency of a prohibition 'order. For failing to notify hrs change of address, being the holder of a license to retain an unlawful weapon, L. Meilis was fined court costs, 10s. . . G. D. Mclnnes was charged with driving at a speed that might have been dangerous to the public. The traffic inspector ; stated that defendant had travelled at a speed of 40,m.p.h. in High Street. In avoiding a motor-lorry the car had Swerved to th#. ; side of the road and had nearly capsized. There had been a fair amount of traffic about at the time. The Magistrate:,imposed a fine of £5 and costs. ■ For operating a motor vehicle not equipped with a rear reflector or a Periscope W. G.
