POINT JERNINGHAM BUOY LIGHT. tpilE Wellington Harbour Board is commencing the erection of a cylindrical tower at Point Jerningham upon which, at a later date, is to be placed a flashing red light. The concrete beacon will stand, when first erected, about 3 feet above high-water mark, in 28 feet of water at mean low tide, and inside the existing red light buoy. Notification will be made when the lights are to be changed, but warning is now given of the commencement of the work of erection of the concrete beacon. A. G.
