APIARY DESTROYED AT RANGIORA By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 14. Early this morning fire destroyed a large wooden building at West Belt, Rangiora, owned by Woods Bros., apiarists, and used by them as a factory and storeroom. In addition to a quantity of plant, which included an electric oven and boilers used in connection with the apiary, about seven tons of honey and a quantity of other material were destroyed. The owners, who are ’ both returned soldiers, will be heavy losers. The damage is estimated at £lOOO. The insurance was £260 in the State Office on the building and plant, and £250 on the honey in the A.P.A.
