SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO BATHER
OBJECT STRUCK IN DIVE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, January 13. While bathing at midday to-day William Robert AValter, a plouglimaii; aged 22, dived into water from a harbour groyne and apparently struck a pile. He was rescued by a companion anti it was found that his babk had been badly injured. He was removed to hospital in a serious condition.
