SCHNEIDER TROPHY
THIS YEAR’S SEAPLANE CONTEST. (British Official Wireless.) , Rugby, January 10. This year’s international seaplane contest for the Schneider trophy, which was won last year by Great Britain, has been fixed to take place on September 6 and 7 over the Solent. The first day will be devoted to tests of navigability and seaworthiness. The actual race over seven circuits of a fifty-kilometre triangular course, equivalent to a distance of 218 miles in all, will take place, weather permitting, on Saturday, September 7.
