NARROW ESCAPE OF A CHINAMAN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Sydney. January 11. A tire occurred in a thickly-congested area, in the vicinity ofthe City Fish Mart, to-night, and a three-storied building, occupied by a Chinese, Mow Sang, as a produce store, was seriously damaged, aud the contents ruined. Firemen discovered a Chinese employee, Charlie Young, on the top floor, almost overcome by smoke. He was in his bunk, but they brought him to . safety down the escape.
