MIGRANTS FOR CANADA
BRITISH-TRAINED FARM WORKERS

# Ottawa, January 10. Arrangements have been completed by the Department of Immigration to place in farm employment in Canada 6000 British-trained emigrants, the maximum number available before the end of July. The number of farm labourers from non-preferred countries has been reduced to 30 per cent, of last year’s total of 47,000.
