FIRE AT KARORI
EMPTY HOUSE DAMAGED. ■ 'At 4.46 p.m. yesterday the fire brigade was called to an outbreak at 54 Duthie Street, Karori, a wooden dwell-ing-house of five rooms, which was unoccupied at the time. The brigade man-aged-to save the buildings which was damaged by fire and water. No insurances were available last night.
