UNEMPLOYMENT
DUNEDIN’S IDLE MEN

The Labour Department in Dunedin has registered the names of 180 men who are out of work. Of this number, the. Works Committee of the City Council has decided to employ 30 married men with families at works in and around the city at standard wages. They will be paid out of the £2OOO grant made by the Government to the City Council.
