WEEK-END EXCURSION TO WANGANUI
The excursion to the Wanganui River on December 1 and 2 arranged ..by the Railway Department offers a most enjoyable week-end outing, and will give city dwellers an opportunity of viewing the beauties of this famous Inland waterway. The trip on the river covers 50 miles, and will occupy about eight hours, with a break for luncheon. The rail fare is just half the ordinary rate, and accommodation may be secured when, purchasing tickets.
