LORD MILNER’S SERVICES

MEMORIAL IN CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, November 4. A memorial to Lord Jlilner was yesterday dedicated in one of the oldest and most beautiful parts of Canterbury Cathedral—the Chapel of St. Martin of Tours —by the retiring Archbishop. It consists of an altar with above it an inscription in which reference is made to the manner in which Lord Jlilner, who died three years ago, “devoted his life to the social and national well-being of Britain at home and overseas.” In his address the Archbishop made particular reference to Lord Jlilner’s services in Egypt and South Africa.
