SEAY’S BAD LUCK.

On Wednesday afterno'n, Ivan Seay, the Canterbury and New Zealand representative tennis player, was taken ill. He will be unable to play in the South Island team against the Englishmen, where his place as second on the Canterbury ranking list was assured. As fourth man on the New Zealand ranking list, Seay was likely to be included in the New Zealand team for the Test match, at Auckland, a week later, but for this team, too, he will now be unavailable. , ■ ■ SALE OF FURS.
