LORD LOVAT’S MISSION
SETTLEMENT IN BRITISH COLUMBIA DISCUSSED (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Rec. September 18, 11.25 p.m.) Victoria, September 18. The placing of British settlers on the land in British Columbia was dis cussed at a conference between the Provincial Government and Lord Lovat. The Premier, Mr. Tolmie, offered the fullest co-operation, ami said the Government was ready to assist when any deflnite plan had been formulated. Lord Lovat will sail for New Zealand on Friday.
