EMPIRE PARLIAMENTARY PARTY PRODUCERS’ PROBLEMS (Australian Press Association.) Winnipeg, September 0. The Empire Parliamentarians conferred with officials of the Western Canada wheat pools and gleaned much information regarding the operation of the pool and marketing plans for the Canadian crop. They were much impressed. Mr. Rhodes (New Zealand) paid a high tribute to the organisation. The Government of Manitoba entertained the visitors to dinner, at which Mr. I’rowsc (West Australia) made one of the principal addresses. He said that the big, problem before the outlying parts of the Empire was to get an adequate market for their produce. lie felt that with this need met the task of peopling the vacant acres'would be more easily accomplished. Mr. Prowse stressed the necessity of a complete union between the various parts of the Empire. Mr. Rhodes said that he believed the mineral wealth of Canada would be developed to a far greater extent in the future, whereby he foresaw prosperity not only for Canada, blit the . entire Empire.
