New Zealand’s credit as a sporting nation must surely lie impaired by tbe events connected with the Davis Cup challenge of 1928, and it is dcsiralfle that a repetition of such events should he guarded against. If New Zealand cannot “play the game” with the other competing nations, it should not embark bn half-hearted entries. —Christchurch “Star.”
