NAVY LEAGUE

FLAG FOR KARORI SCHOOL. The Wellington branch of the Navy League met on Tuesday afternoon, Sir Douglas McLean presiding. Arrangements were linalised tor the presentation by the Governor-General of a Union Jack to the Karori State School at 2.30 pan. on September 20. Januarv 28 has been fixed as the date for the next conference to be held at Auckland. The following day, delegates will be the guests of the Auckland Yacht Club at the annual regatta. The general secretary advised that the Empire Conference that was to have been held in October. 1925, had been postponed for a year.
