JUDGMENT DEBTOR’S PLEA. . “It means that there will be money in fny pogket later ou,” said A. A. Wallace, a judgment debtor for rent in arrears, iu the Magistrate's Court, Lower Hutt, before Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., yesterday, when referring to a lorry on which he was making monthly payments of £25. I “Yes, but the thing we want is money in your creditor's pockets,” interjected Air. Rothwell, counsel for the plaintiff, dryly. His Worship pointed out that the vehicle was nevertheless the means by which Wallace earned his wages, and that in the event of his failing to pay instalments, it would be seized. The case was adjourned.
