labourer slips down bank.

A labourer, J. Logan, of 5S Britannia Street, Petone, lost his footing working on the Tawa Flat tunnel job for the Public Works Department early yesterday morning and rolled down a bank 200 ft. deep. Logan, who suffered severe head injuries and concussion of the brain, was taken by the Free Ambulance to the Public Hospital, where he was admitted in a serious condition. Late last night his condition was reported to have considerably improved.
