Sempo Viel registered moderate performances in tlie hurdles events. The women’s meeting, as a preliminary to the Olympic Games, resulted iu six records being beaten or equalled. Mademoiselle Radidcau equalled the world’s reeord in winning file 100 metres in 12 2-5 sec., and Mademoiselle Neveu won tlio SOO metres in 2min. 26 2-sscc. TO.
