CRUISER DAUNTLESS
GOOD PROSPECTS OF BEING REFLOATED ’ (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, July 10. Good progress in moderately favourable weather is being made with the efforts to salvage the cruiser Dauntless; which is aground outside Halifax, Nova Scotia. Air is being forced into the flooded compartments, and all guns, torpedoes, and most of the other movable fittings have been taken off. Unless the' weather deteriorates, the Dauntless may be refloated in a few days. '
