GIFTS TO REDUCTION FUND (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, July 10. The Financial Secretary to tho Treasury, Mr. A. M. Samuel, stated in the House of Commons that, in addition to the'original sum of £500,000 announced in February for the National Debt reduction fund, £795 had been received. The Elsie Mackay fund of £30,000, anuouheed last week, would be separately constituted. AptirtTfrom thege specially accumulating funds total gifts from Individuals received - since the outhfeak of war amounted to £1,109,00V, of which the sum of £625,00'0 was received in tho form of Securities, and tho balance in cash.
