SAMOAN MURDERER

AH MAU RECAPTURED (Special to Press Association, by Radio.) (Ree. May 8, 8.45 p.m.) Apia, May 7. Constable Hollis (a New Zealander) and a settler named Gardiner recaptured the escaped murderer Ah Mau this morning. Ah Mau was armed with a knife and made a desperate resistance, and had to be shot with a revolver before he was subdued. His wound is not serious.
