The Manawatu ■ Competitions Society’s annual festival was continued at Palmerston North this morning, this afternoon, and again to-night. There was again a large attendance at the Opera House for the night, session, when most of the recall competitors in the classes heard during the day made their appearance, thus enabling the final awards to be made. Results are as follow (competitors are from Palmerston North unless otherwise stated): — Piano Solo, under 34: Alice Brindle (Wanganui), 177 points, 1; Edna Foley, 176 points, 2. National Song, Ladies, English, Welsh, Scotch, or Irish.—Miss Malsie Smith. 175 polnfs, 1; Miss Bertha Dewe (Feilding) and Miss M.
