CARGO PROM NEW YORK. Mr. W. Wallis reports that the A., and A. Line chartered steamer Wirral is to sail from New York on March 23 with general cargo to discharge at Suva, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Willastou will leave New York on April 28 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lytteltou, Duuedin, and Wanganui.
MESSAGE FROM MATAROA. At 11 p.m. ou Wednesday the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Mataroa. which left Wellington on Sunday morning for Southampton and London, reported as follows by radio: "Have had heavy south-easterly weather since departure; conditions now improving. All well.
THE ARGYLLSHIRE. „ The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the Argyllshire arrived at Port Chalmers at 6.30 a.m. yesterday from Bluff, and she will leave the Otago port on Tuesday for Wellington. The vessel is due at WeUington next Wednesday, and will sail finally from here ou March 31 for Hull and London.
THE DEVON. The Devon arrived at Nelson yesterday morning from Wellington, for further loading. She will leave Nelson on Tuesday for Picton.
NEW HUDDART-PARKER BOAT. It is announced that an order will shortly be placed for the construction oi a new motor-ship to rtin in the State service in the interests of lluadartParker. Ltd., states the "Sydney Morning Herald.” Mr. W. T. Appleton, chairman of directors of llud dart-Pa rker, Ltd., said that the company contemplated ordering a motor-ship of slightly bigger proportions than the steamer Zealandia. They required a vessel to carry about 4CO passengers. Mr. J. L. Webb, a director of the company, is leaving for Great Britain to place the order. Many tenders had been received by the company, hut the placing of the order would be left to Mr. Webb’s discretion, after he had made inquiries abroad. Mr Appleton said that it was expected that the new vessel would arrive m Australia about • the middle of next year, and would immediately be placed in the interstate service. The new vessel will fill the gap in the company’s passenger fleet caused by the grounding of the etearner Riverina oh the Victorian coast, near Gabo Island, on the night of April 17 last year, the Riverina was sold later to a salvage syndicate. The question of replacing the Riverina has been engaging the attention if the directorate since the vessel was lost to the company. The Zealandia was withdrawn from the Western Australian run after the Riverina went aground, but after catering for the extensive tourist traffic between Sydney and Hobart for some time is to be withdrawn from that service next month. ..
THE PAKEHA. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company's steamer Pakeha left Auckland last night lor Opua, Timaru. Bluff. Port Chalmers, and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on April 6, and will now sail finally from this port on April 12 lor Montevideo and London.
TASMANIA TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the Tasmania is fixed to commence loading at New Plymouth on April 30 for Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. She will load subsequently at Auckland, Opua, Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and is to sail finally from this port on May 19.
„ TRANSHIPMENTS FROM EAST. Mr. W. Wallis advises that transhipments ex the Himalaya Maru. from the hast, will arrive at Wellington next Tuesday by the Maunganui, from Sydney.
THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. The Canadian Highlander arrived at Bluff at 8 a.m. vesterdav from Dunedin. Bhe will leave Bluff at 3 p.m to-day for Wellington, and is due here on Sunday, to load for New York, Boston, and Montreal.
~ REMUERA TO LOAD. Ihe New Zealand Shipping Company report that their liner Remuera is to commence loading at Napier, and v.ill proceed thence to Auckland, Tokomaru Bay. Picton, and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on April .25, end will sail finally from here on April 28 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
THE HERMINIUS. The Herminius arrived in the Wanganui roadstead last evening from New Plymouth. for further loading. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise ti-at the vessel will leave the roadstead tomorrow for Bluff.
WESTMORELAND’S ITINERARY. The New Zealand Shipping Company report an alteration in the loading itinerary ot the Westmoreland. The vessel will leave Dunedin this afternoon for New Plymouth, to complete discharge and to commence loading. The ship will now proceed from New Plymouth to load also at. Nelson, Wanganui, and Wellington. The Westmoreland is due at. Wellington on April 18, and will sail finat.y from here on April 23 for Hull and London.
PORT ALBANY REPORTS. The C an-1 D. Line received a wireless message yesterday from the Port A bany, en route from New York stating tial the vessel will arrive at Auckland next Wednesday afternoon. As the ship is to can at Napier. on her way down the coast, she will arrive at Wellington about April 8.
THE CANADIAN SEIGNEUR. Cable! advice has been received by Canadian National Steamships that tlie Canadian Seigneur arrived at Halifax on February 25 from Auckland, via. New York and Boston. The vessel left Auckland on January 12.
MAHANA DEPARTS. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company s steamer Mahana left Wellington last evening, sooner than anticipated, for London, via Panama.
PIAKO TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Piako will commence loading at Bluff for New York. Boston, and Loudon. She is to load subsequeutalso at Timaru. Lyttelton, and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington in April 16, and will proceed from here to Auckland, to fill up. The Piako is to sail finally from Auckland on April 28.

The American-Australia-prient Line steamer West Conob is scheduled to reach Auckland on April 3 with timber, case oil and general cargb from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, and Bluff.
