IN CAMP
15TH BATTERY’S PROGRAMME. The 15th (Coast) Batterby, N.Z.A., on Saturday afternoon went into camp at Port 'Dorset, Seatount, for one week, during which the annua course of instruction will be carried out. There arc 10 officers, and about 180 other ranks in the camp. The men will bo under canvas, nad Major J. Abel will be in command, with Captain K. S Park. R.N.Z.A., and Lieut. Gallagher, R.N.Z.A., as instructors. Heavy gun work, light gun quiekfiring, machine gun practice, range-lmding, and signalling will be the chief features of the training. and searchlights will be used at night by the engine-driving and electrical sections. Gun practice will be carried out on Thursday and *' rl " a y next if the weather permits. lowed hong-kong targets will be used for the purpose. The Hudson Cup is to be competed for this year, and Hie battery pits itselt against the Auckland battery, which has already been through its course. On Monday next. ATajor-General K. Young, G.0.C., Now Zealand Forces, will inspect the camp.
