Dominion Special Service. On January 23, in Knox Presbyterian' Church, Margaretta McGregor, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Biggary Grant, of "Morven Hills,” Maugahei, was married to Colin Campbell, eldest son of Air. and Mrs. Joseph Grant, of Otaki, the Rev. J. Thomson Macky being the officiating clergyman. The bride wore a frock of cream crepe de chine and lace, with long train of cream satin over pink georgette depending from the shoulders. Her veil was fastened with orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of Christmas lilies and maidenhair fern. Tiro bridesmaids, Misses Elsie and Jessie Graht, both sisters of the bride, were in attendance, the former wearing shell pink crepe de chine, and the latter periwinkle blue crepe de chine, with veils to match, and bouquets of sweetpeas to tone. Phyllis Grant, niece of the bridegroom, and Terry Roake, acted as train-bearers, the former in apricot crepe de chine and the latter in a suit of cream silk. Mr. R. feeddon Cooper, of Havelock North, was best man. At a subsequent reception in the Foresters’ Hall Airs. Grant, motliei of the bride, received her guests, about 150 in all, in a becoming frock of navv crepe de chine, with hat to tone, and bouquet of red roses. Mrs.,J. Grant, mother of the hfcidegroOm, wore a black satin coat, with hat to match, her bouquet being of sweet-peas. For travelling the bride’s frock was of saxe bine ninrocatn, With crinoline hat to match, and fox furs. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Grant will reside at Lyall Bay, Wellington. . . Mr. J. Gordon (Marton) is a visitor to Dannevirke.
