Stent, of Ohmgaiti, has been elected chairman of directors of the xai hape Dairy Company. The Talhape Catholic Church was the scene of a wedding this w®®!'’, , Dorothy Margaret, second daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. D. McCormick, of Tallinn®. wag married to Stephen Joseph, son ot Mr. and Mrs. M. McDonnell, of Camb During the holidays the beautiful bush in the Taihape Domain and in Bruces Park (near Huntcrville) proved a great attraction to touring motorists, and I®'J passed through these localities without admiring what is recognised to be some of the Dominion’s best flora. . Huntervile Pipe Band ig again haying a busy season having been engaged to play nt sports gnthcrings in every part of the district. An enthusiastic organisation. consisting entirely of young PmY' ere. tlie band is a credit to tlie little toivnshin which produced it. The wedding took place in Taihape recent ]v of Marion Mildred, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Stanley, of laihape. and George Manson. eon of tno late Mr. and Mrs. Manson West, of wairarapa. The bridegroom recently lived iu Suva.
