The "Daily Telegraph’s” Dublin correspondent states that the Government has strengthened its position by obtaining the Farmers’ support on questions of policy by the appointment of their leader, Mr. Heffernan, to a Parliamentary secretaryship, probably the Department of Agriculture. Even so the Government’s life is precarious.
