TALK OF ANOTHER STOPPAGE
RESULT OF SUGGESTED CUT IN WAGES
London, October 12,
Close on the heels of a suggestion from a section of coalowners that there should be a reduction of miners’ minimum percentages and subsistence wage owing to two years' heavv losses, the Lancashire and Cheshire Miners’ Federation is demanding the cancellation of the present agreement. The matter is expected to be discussed at the National Conference in _ November. Though the federation is impoverished some are talking of another national stoppage -
