BITTER ATTACK ON LABOUR PARTY “OUT TO BRING EMPIRE TO DISSOLUTION" London, October 9. Mr. H. Pollitt, at the Communist conference at Manchester, bitterly attacked the Labour Partv. “The policy at Blackpool was clearly intended to prepare for a coalition or a mutual unflerstanding of Liberal and Labour leaders at or after the next election. It was a gross betrayal of every Socialist principle.” Other delegates attacked the Independent Labour Party, describing the tactics at Blackpool as “a disgusting and humiliating exhibition.” Mr. James Larkin, the Irish Communist, fraternallv greeting the conference in the name of the Irish revolutionary working class, said: “I am here, to bring this Empire to dissolution. It is most essential for the sake of the Empire’s suffering millions, for the sake of the workers in Great Britain, China, and In dia, to abolish bayonet rule."-A.P,A and “Sun.”
