UNREST IN SOLOMONS
AUSTRALIAN CRUISER TO PROTECT BRITISHERS (Rec. October 10, 7.40 p.m.) Sydney, October 10. Following a request by the British Government the Commonwealth Government to-day decided to despatch the Cruiser Adelaide to the Solomon Islands for the protection of British residents there, as it is feared the native uprising mav extend.
