DEMAND FOR RAKOVSKY’S REPLACEMENT Paris, October 9. The latest Note to the Soviet says that there is no question of a FrancoRussian rupture. It is merely a personal objection to M. Rakovsky, whose removal France commands. > (Rec. October 10, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, October 9. The Soviet having ignored the verbal representations, M. Herbette has handed M. T. Chitcherin a Note formally demanding M. Rakovsky’s replacement, explaining that there is no question of rupture.
