SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE The bulletin of infectious diseases for the week ended yesterday shows a total of 67 cases in the Vellington health district, an increase of 14 over the previous week’s total. Central'Wellington: Scarlet fever, 10 (13) ; diphtheria, 3 (1) ; tuberculosis, 2 (4) ; pneumonia, 2 (0) ; puerperal fever, 1 (0) ; ophthalmia neon, 1 (0) ; erysipelas, 0 (2); total, 19 (20).
