Greymouth, October 10. In the Magistrate’s Court this morning John Yarrow Rutherford was convicted and ordered fo pay costs on a charge of having fired three shots in tho Liverpool mine without the oil being holod and side-cut, as required by the regulations. A penalty was not pressed for. Harry Jones and Thomas Middleton were each fined 10s. on charges .of having tobacco and (issue papers in their possession in the Dobson mine.
