Watkins, of Lower Hutt, is visiting her sister, Airs. R. T. Pinckuev, of Dannevirke. Mrs. A. Canning, of Dannevirke, is visiting Christchurch. Aliss G. ATaher, of Hastings, was in Palmerston North for the races on Wednesday. Aliss Af. Rowe, of Hamilton, is a visitor to Wanganui. Aliss Joyce Alorrison, of Dannevirke, is the guest of Airs. Gifford Aloore, Palmerston North.

Air. and Airs. J. ATcNeil are New Plymouth visitors to Wanganui. Aliss Olga Carlyon, of Hawke’s Bay, is visiting Palmerston North, where she is the guest of Airs. Ronald Abraham. /

Aliss Joan Kelliher, 'who has been the guest of her sister, Airs. V. E. Ramlose, Wairoa, has returned to Wellington. Air. and Airs. F. R. Wright, of Hawke’s Bav, are staying in Wanganui. Airs. Charles Bennett, Bankview, Alasterton, is visiting Airs. Fritz Kummer, Renall Street, Alasterton, for a few days. Airs. T. Al. Page, has returned to Eketahuna from a visit to Waipukurau. Airs. Lucas, of Alasterton, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Air. and Airs. S. Petteugell, of Waipukurau, are visiting Eketahuna. Sister Cootes, who has been at Glenwood Hospital, Alasterton. for some time, will shortly go to St. Helen’s Hospital, Wellington. Aliss Clare, of the Eketahuna District High School, has recovered from her recent illness, and has resumed duty. Airs. Guv Alace, of Alasterton, -who has been spending the winter in Wellington, is now visiting Hawke’s Bay. . Dr. and Airs. G. F. Chadwick, of Eketahuna, are spending a holiday at Paraparaumu. , Air. C. Small, of Palmerston North, has been visiting his mother, Airs. R. Af. Small, of Eketahuna. Air. and Mrs. C. E. Collins, formerly of Eketahuna, have taken up their residence at Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Anderson, formerly of Inglewood, have takqn up their residence at Waiwaka, Eketahuna. Airs. Leslie Tattle, of Sanson, has been on a visit to her parents, Air. and Mrs. G. FT. Leslie, of Eketahuna. The death has occurred at Sanmateo, California, of Mrs. Ernest Van Booth, of Redwood Citv, California. The late Airs. Van Booth was bom in Martinborough, Wairarnpa, being the daughter of the late Air. and Airs. William Smith, of "Waihanga.” About six years ago Airs. Van Booth left New- Zealand for San Francisco. She is survived by three brothers, David (Alasterton), Robert (Afartinborough), and Stephen (Heretaunga). AIADAME MENERE’S THANKS.
