REPAIRS CARRIED OUT SATISFACTORILY.

At the last annual meeting of the Wellington Licensing Committee the renewal of licenses for the Central, Albert, Princess, Clyde Quay, and Cambridge Hotels was held up pending certain repairs being carried, out. When the committee met to consider the position again vesterdav the chairman (Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) stated that it had been decided to renew the licenses as the repairs in each case w.ere satisfactory. '
