The New Zealand Shipping Company s liner Kuahine arrived in the stream at Wellington at 7.45 a.m. on Saturday froiq London and Southampton, 'in the Panama Oanal. Pratique was granted and the vessel berthed at 9.30 a.m. at No. 1 south Queen's Wharf, to disembark her passengers and put out part Ruahine loaded at London, and left there on February 10 for Southampton, to pick up mails and embark her passengers. Southampton was cleared at 1 p.m. ou February 11. and very bad weather was experienced for the first week out, when it moderated slightly until her arrival at Colon on February 26. The vessel passed through the canal, and sailed again the same day for Pitcairn Island, which was reached ou March 9 after a fair weather voyage. She -tayed there just over an hour, and then proceeded on her wav to Wellington, tho good weather lasting until two cays before her arrival here, when unfavourable conditions set in and lasted till she reached this port. Line chartered steamer Sheafmount arrived at Wellington on Saturday morning from New York, via Auckland, and berthed at the lliorndon breastwork, to put out part cargo. MISCELLANEOUS. Tho Maimoa arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Napier, for further loading- T . The Delphic arrived at Nelson at 10 a.m. on Saturday from Picton, to continue loading. She will leave Nelson tomorrow for Wanganui roadstead. The Canadian Prospector # arrived at Bluff yesterday from Dunedin. She will next proceed to Wellington, and is duo hero on Wednesday for loading. The O. and D. lane advise that the Port Albany will now leave Auckland today for Gisborne, for further loading. The Kahika, from southern ports, is due here to-morrow, and will go on to Napier and Gisborne. The Kaimanawa will clear Auckland on Wednesday for Portland, where she will load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kamo and Kaimai will both leave hero to-day for Greymouth, to load for Wellington. The Waipiata is now due hero tomorrow from south, and will go on to Nanier and Auckland. The Pcgulus. from Wanganui, is ana here to-morrow, and will go on to westport and Greymouth. The Katoa. is due here to-morrow from Auckland, and will go on to southern porta. From Bluff, via porta, the Calm is now due here on Thursday, r-nd will go on to Wanganui. The Breeze will load at Dunedin on Wednesday for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, and is due here on Sunday. The Storm will leave here for Wanganui. She is due back on Wednesday, and will go on to Westport. Gale, from Onekaka. ia due here to-morrow, and will proceed on to southern ports. . _ _ The John is due here on Ihursday from Ifokianga. x The Progress, from Port Waikato, is due here to-morrow, and will go on to southern ports.
