POLICY OF DIRECT ACTION
<, REJECTED BY AUSTRALIAN WORKERS’ UNION. Sydney, January 22. The annual congress of the Australian Workers’ Union defeated a motion to have the policy of the organisation changed from arbitration to direct action in order to redress the wcikers’ grievances, and decided by an overwhelming majority to leave any dispute to be settled by the Arbitration Court.
