RECENT MOTOR COLLISION
CAR DRIVER’S EXPLANATION. On Thursday evening the rider of a "‘motor-cycle, Leslie Dickson, was injured in a collision with a motor-car in Featherston Street. It was stated after the accident that the motor-car was on its wrong side, and that the driver went off without stopping to help the cvclist. The driver of the car denies ’these statements, and declares that, by the time he had manoeuvred his car out of the way of other traffic, the injured man had been lifted into a car, and as he could do nothing to assist, he drove Jo the police station and reported the matter, in the interests of both parties.
