Housebreaking lias been prevalent in the suburbs lately, anti about half-a-dozen residences have been ransacked during the last,,, week. Jewellery and small sums of money have been taken The absence of householders on holida; has provided the thieves with tnnplc opportunities. The offences are believed to have been the work of boys.
