Mr. David Devitt, producer of “The Girl Behind the Counter,” left for Australia by the Manama on Friday. He will return to New Zealand in about six weeks’ time. Mr. F. W. Hiring, a director of Williamson’s Films (New Zealand), and of the big Williamson-Hoyt Company in Australia, arrived in Wellington per motor on Thursday night last, and left for Sydney the next day. He was accompanied bv Mr. Cedric Ballantyne, the Melbourne architect, who designed the Regent Theatres, of Wellington and Auckland.

Mr. P. Selig is a passenger by the Ulimaroa which left Svdney on Friday for Auckland, states a Press Association message. 7
