Wanganui, December 26. Bcvdfield Street, Wanganui East, was the scene of a motor accident last evening. when a motor-cycle, on which three brothers were riding, encountered a ino-tor-car The rider of the motor-cycle was Thoma- Halkett, whoso two brothers were behind him on the machine. Turning from Boydfield Street into Anz.ac Parade, the motor-cycle met a car driven by Mr. William Lind, who had difficulty in avoiding a head-on collision. -\s it was. the motor-cycle was upset and two of the lads injured. Thomas Halkett who is an electrician (aged 17), was taken to the hospital with a broken log, while Douglas. ln« brother, who suffcred minor injuries was taken to Jus home On inquiry at the institution today. the sufferer was reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
