SUICIDE ATTEMPTED
MAORI WOAIAN ADMITTED TO PROBATION. By Telegraph.—Press association. Gisborne, December 21. A Maori woman named Paea Crawford, aged was charged in the Magistrate’s Court witli attempted suicide at Cape Runaway. She was admitted to probation. Accused was a member of a shearing gang, and after a dispute slashed her throat with a razor. The police stated that another member of her family had made a similar attempt.
